Install from Chrome or Edge

  1. Open the app while connected to the internet.
  2. Let the version check and initial offline cache finish.
  3. Choose Install app in the editor if your browser offers a prompt. Otherwise use the browser's menu: Install, or Apps → Install this site as an app.
  4. Launch it from your desktop or operating system's app list.

Installation options vary by browser. The processing workflow is intended for desktop Chrome and Edge; a mobile home-screen shortcut does not qualify a phone for large RAW sets.

Offline usage

Open the app online once and let the offline download finish. The app saves the tools it needs on your device, so you can import, stitch, frame, and export panoramas without uploading your photographs.

Launch the installed app from your desktop when you want to work offline. Your project settings and cached images stay in local browser storage.

Update without losing your work

New releases download quietly in the background. Close the app when you have finished; the latest cached version is ready for the next launch. When you open it, the installed app tries the network first and uses its offline cache if the connection is unavailable. Your saved project stays available.

If downloading the update fails, your existing app assets and project remain available. Try again with a working connection. Keep your originals and a saved project recipe for easy recovery.

Keep your source files

The browser stores local working pixels and project settings. Storage can be removed by you, the browser, or the operating system. Keep the originals and download a recipe for projects you care about; the recipe does not contain all source pixels.

The production app runs on vakago-tools.com and its subdomains. Use the official address for installation.
