Processing and storage
The app reads the files you select and processes them locally using browser workers and bundled codecs. It does not upload originals, panorama pixels, or project recipes to an image service. There is no account or app telemetry.
Decoded working pixels, previews, and settings can be cached in browser storage on the current origin. The project menu lets you download a recipe, restore linked originals, and clear the local image cache. A recipe contains settings and source descriptions, not the source pixel payload.
What goes online
The browser downloads the website and app assets from the serving Vakago origin. The app also requests a small release identifier to check whether its installed version is current. These checks do not send your images or recipe.
The server hosting those requests may keep normal access logs. This page describes the panorama app's behavior; the main Vakago website has its own policies. External camera references open the relevant DJI pages when followed.
Offline and updates
Launch the installed app online once to download its offline assets. It can then process photographs locally while offline. Updates download quietly and become available on the next launch.
Keep original files separately. Browser storage is useful for recovery, but it is not a backup. Moving to a different subdomain also means a different browser-storage origin.
