AI horizon correction
Estimate camera roll from a frame at the playhead and apply a correction across the clip. Suitable when the tilt stays consistent.
Premiere plugin by Vakago Tools
Straighten tilted video with local AI, follow changing roll with Auto keyframes, and process selected clips in a batch. Adjust rotation and framing without leaving your Premiere timeline.
Requires Adobe Premiere 25.6.5 or later (Premiere Pro 25.6.5+).

Plugin features
Choose a single-frame correction, sampled Auto keyframes, a manual adjustment, or a batch of selected clips. Review the rotation and crop in Premiere.
Estimate camera roll from a frame at the playhead and apply a correction across the clip. Suitable when the tilt stays consistent.
Process multiple selected videos in sequence. Each clip is analyzed from its first included frame and receives its own correction.
Grab and turn the preview against a fixed line or grid. Inspect the draft before choosing Apply. Manual adjustment runs no AI.
Sample the trimmed clip at a frame interval you choose. Create Rotation keyframes with Off, Low, Medium or High smoothing, then review the movement in Premiere.
Add or update corrections at individual moments. One key holds its value; additional keys define how rotation changes over time.
Auto-fill adds Scale for supported whole-clip corrections. Turn it off to preserve existing Scale. For keyframes, choose Off, Constant or Dynamic zoom and review the crop.
The included neural network uses artificial intelligence to estimate camera roll. Analyze frames on your computer with GPU acceleration and CPU fallback, without a separate cloud AI account.
Manual Rotation
Use the preview to align a horizontal or vertical reference in the scene. Grab and turn the image, or use the keyboard for smaller adjustments.
The line and grid stay fixed while the image rotates. The change remains a local draft until you choose Apply or Apply key. Cancel discards the draft.

Selected clips
Select the videos you want to process, then choose Selected clips. The extension analyzes each video's first included trimmed frame and applies a separate correction.
Clips are processed sequentially. Progress and clip details distinguish applied, skipped, failed and unprocessed targets. Completed edits remain available if you cancel the rest of the queue.
This mode uses one frame per video. It does not track changing roll throughout each clip.

Auto keyframing
Open Auto and choose how many frames to leave between samples. AI auto-keyframe analyzes the trimmed clip and applies a correction curve to Motion Rotation.
Choose smoothing and leave Scale unchanged with Zoom Off, use one Constant scale, or let Dynamic zoom change with the correction. Review any animation replacement warning before continuing, then check the complete shot for missed tilt and cropping.

How it works
Corrections use Premiere's existing Motion Rotation and optional Scale controls. Inspect the values and animation in your usual editing workflow.
Place the playhead over an eligible video and choose At playhead, or select videos and choose Selected clips.
Choose Straighten with AI, or rotate the preview and Apply. Enable Add keyframe for a correction at one moment. Read animation-replacement prompts before continuing.
Play through the shot in Premiere. Check the horizon, corners and crop. Inspect any existing animation and use Premiere Undo when an edit needs to be reversed.
Rotation and Scale
Rotating a frame can expose empty corners. Supported edge filling adds Scale to cover them, which reduces the visible field of view. Always check the final frame in Premiere.

Tilted frameLevel frame
Use Auto-fill edges to cover empty corners after a whole-clip correction. Turn it off to keep Scale unchanged and adjust the framing yourself in Premiere.
For Auto and point keyframes, Zoom Off leaves Scale unchanged. Constant uses one scale across the clip; Dynamic changes Scale with the correction. Automatic framing requires supported geometry. Check animation replacement warnings and the full shot.

Frequently asked questions
AI Horizon Fixer is a Premiere plugin that estimates camera roll from a frame and adjusts Motion Rotation. It also provides visual manual rotation, selected-clip batch correction, point Rotation keyframes and sampled Auto keyframing.
Horizon correction adjusts roll. It does not replace tools for reducing camera shake, stabilizing translation or correcting rolling shutter. Choose the tool that addresses the movement in your shot.
The model estimates orientation from scene structure, so a visible sea or landscape horizon is not a requirement. Strong perspective, ambiguous scenes and intentional camera roll can still need manual review.
Yes. Selected clips processes eligible selected videos sequentially, using each clip's first included frame. Each video receives its own correction. This is different from analyzing changes throughout a single clip.
Use Auto to sample the trimmed clip and create correction keyframes, with smoothing and zoom controls. You can also add individual AI or manual Rotation keys. Review the full shot; sampling does not analyze every frame unless you choose an interval of one frame.
The extension uses a bundled model and runtime for local inference. It does not upload footage to an AI service. Adobe installation, marketplace and account services have their own connection requirements and terms.
AI Horizon Fixer requires Premiere 25.6.5 or later. Use regular, forward-playing video clips. Complex compositions, transitions, nested or multicam clips, speed changes and some transforms have limitations. See the user guide for help.
Install AI Horizon Fixer through Adobe Exchange or the Creative Cloud desktop app. In Premiere, choose Window > Extensions > AI Horizon Fixer to open the panel. Follow the user guide for your first correction.
